Laying the foundation with 25 GWh, and setting a global benchmark for mass production

Yantai Leawat Power Technology Co., Ltd. invests RMB 10 billion to build the 25GWh Large Cylindrical Battery Project, focusing on mass production of high-rate tabless 46mm large cylindrical batteries. Leawat will be equipped with a 150ppm high-speed mass production line compatible with five major material systems, including lithium iron phosphate, lithium manganese iron phosphate, ternary lithium, lithium titanate, and sodium-ion. The production line will mass-produce first batch of 46mm large cylindrical batteries in 2025, becoming the world's first mass production line for large cylindrical batteries, and leading industry development with core technological strength.

With 11 self-developed core technologies, Leawat Power achieves a perfect integration of ultra-high rate, high specific energy, long cycle life, and ultimate safety in its 46mm large cylindrical battery products:

Ultra-high power, and ultra-fast charging: Leawat Power has pioneered a structural innovation globally. Through a full-dimensional current conduction balance design of structural components, the Company has completely eliminated the internal and external tab design of the roll core, creating a true tabless structure, and thoroughly removing current flow bottlenecks such as welds and connecting tabs. Combined with multi-phase balanced conduction and SEI composite low-impedance technologies, these batteries can achieve an ultra-high rate of 50C.

High specific energy, and spatial revolution: Leawat Power employs modular structural design to compress the volume proportion of structural components to the extreme, increasing energy density by 5%. In addition, with the field expansion technology, material potential is fully released, further boosting capacity utilization by 2%.

Ultra-long life, stability and durability: Based on three major technologies, including slow stress relief, gradual SEI construction, and distributed liquid storage, Leawat batteries ensure stable electrode structures, zero loss of active lithium, and long-term electrolyte supply, significantly extending cycle life.

Multi-dimensional protection for safety assurance: The application of thermal-electrical decoupling, multi-level discharging, and microscopic arc suppression technologies enables Leawat to build a comprehensive safety protection network from cells to systems, confidently handling extreme tests such as needle penetration and burning.
